New instances provide up to 40% better price performance

We are excited to announce the support of C7gd instance types in the Elastic Cloud Hosted — FedRAMP Moderate Authorized offering, bringing meaningful price-performance benefits to US agencies, partners, and organizations.
The new C7gd instances — powered by AWS Graviton3 (ARM) processors with local NVME-based SSDs — offer better performance and efficiency. C7gd instances provide up to 45% better real-time NVMe storage performance than comparable Graviton2-based instances. This makes C7gd an ideal choice for running Elastic workloads for Search, Observability, and Security solutions within the secure FedRAMP Moderate environment.
With the improved performance of C7gd instances, organizations can benefit from up to 40% improvement in price performance when comparing workloads on Intel-based instances.
