When you sign up or log in to the Elastic Cloud console, you can create a serverless project by specifying the type of project you want (Elasticsearch, Observability, or Security). If you choose an Observability or Security project, select your preferred AWS region. For an Elasticsearch project, choose the use case (“General Purpose” or “Optimized for Vectors”) and then select your preferred region. After clicking "Create project," your Elastic Cloud Serverless project will be provisioned within minutes.
